Prior Experience

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kavanagh was the director of the land acquisition and education programs for Save-the-Redwoods League where she worked to expand federal, state, and municipal parks. She holds a certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language from the Royal Society of Arts and served as a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps in Cameroon, where she taught English.

Professional Affiliations

Ms. Kavanagh is a member of the Northern California Planned Giving Council, the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, the American Bar Association (Exempt Organizations Committee of the Tax Law Section), the California State Bar Association, and the Bar Association of San Francisco.
