Prior Experience

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Kavanagh was the director of the land acquisition and education programs for Save-the-Redwoods League where she worked to expand federal, state, and municipal parks. She holds a certificate to teach English as a Foreign Language from the Royal Society of Arts and served as a volunteer in the U.S. Peace Corps in Cameroon, where she taught English.

Ms. Kavanagh is a member of the Northern California Planned Giving Council and the National Planned Giving Council.

Ms. Kavanagh is a member of the American Bar Association and The San Francisco Bar Association.
