Andrew Snell advises clients on a broad variety of matters involving nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, including formation, applying for and maintaining tax-exempt status, grant-making, corporate governance, and related matters.
Mr. Snell is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining Adler & Colvin, Mr. Snell served as an attorney in the EEE division of the Office of Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service, focusing on the federal tax law governing a wide range of tax-exempt organizations. While at the IRS, he drafted public and private guidance regarding exempt purposes, conducted taxpayer conferences for private letter ruling submissions, and provided field support for tax litigation and determination letters.
Outside of the office, Mr. Snell enjoys golfing, bouldering, and playing video games.
