Ms. Broude’s practice areas encompass all aspects in the life cycle of a nonprofit organization, including formation, tax-exemption, corporate governance, and charitable solicitation registrations, as well as restructurings, dissolutions, and mergers. Ms. Broude has extensive experience navigating and resolving compliance and regulatory matters with various state and federal agencies.
Before joining Adler & Colvin in 2004, Ms. Broude practiced as a corporate and securities paralegal at the law firm of Farella Braun + Martel LLP in San Francisco, where she began her legal career many years earlier as a litigation paralegal. She has also served as the Director of Legal Administration for an in-house corporate legal department, and as Legal Administrator/ Special Litigation Assistant at the San Francisco City Attorney’s office.
